Results of the 2024 Kazakhstan Chess Championship

At the 2024 Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, our chess school created a sensation. Our students won 27 medals. Most of them (namely 14) are gold.
The championship was held in two cities: the senior category played in Turkestan, the younger ones (under 12 years old) in Shymkent.
In Turkestan, students of the Central Chess Club “ASTANA” won 7 medals: 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.

Nurlykhan Kudaibergen became the champion of Kazakhstan in chess under 18 years old.

The champion of Kazakhstan in blitz under 18 is Moldagali Beksultan. He also won silver in rapid in the category "under 18".

Another silver medal belongs to Diana Tynyshtyk, who came in second in the classic event in the “under 14” category.
We have third places in rapid and blitz:

At the rapid tournament, Alemanova Yasmina took 3rd place in the under 16 category, and Zhauynbay Aldiyar in the under 14 category.

Momyn Madina won the bronze medal, finishing third in the blitz in the under 16 category.
In Shymkent our guys won 20 medals.
We have 12 gold medals (out of 24 possible), 4 silver and 4 bronze.
There is an athlete who became the absolute champion in his category.

Zhaunbai Alimzhan collected all the gold medals among boys under 10. He became the champion of Kazakhstan in classical chess, rapid and blitz.

Alisha Bisalieva won three medals among girls under 8. Gold in classic and rapid, bronze in blitz.

Kairat Abdul-Malik won gold medals in classic and rapid among boys under 6 years old.

Amanzhol Khanzada also won 2 gold medals: classic and blitz (girls under 12).

Zhubatkhan Asylym became the champion of Kazakhstan among girls under 6. The athlete won silver in blitz and bronze in rapid.

Young chess player Venera Zhakisheva won gold in rapid chess and bronze in blitz chess (girls under 6).

Nurshin Nurali became the champion of Kazakhstan in blitz among boys under 8 years old.

Shomanova Amira received a silver medal in the classic (girls under 8 years old).

2nd place among boys under 10 in blitz was taken by Amirzhan Anetov.

And among boys under 12, Abdsattar Alisher won the silver medal in blitz.

Shomanova Aliya brought our team the fourth bronze medal, winning third place in blitz (girls under 12).

Also, another of our athletes, Mamakova Aknur, came in fourth in the classic and received a ticket to the Western Asian Championship.
